Need a re-do
I don't know about you, but 2023 got away from me. Here we are looking at the end of November and I'm still a bit scattered in my work. Despite my dismay, I know myself well enough that I know I won't be able to finish my 2023 goals by the end of the year.
Unfortunately, Eye of the Storm is still in the works and only about a third of the way done. Sad thing is, I may need to re-write the whole thing again. It's been a struggle that I can't seem to shake off. I'm just not feeling it and I keep getting stuck in the same place.
I'm hoping 2024 will be the year. I'm hoping to get some momentum going to finish Eye of the Storm, but to also clean up Dark Skies.
Another goal I have for 2024 is to be consistent in my activities - especially writing. Ultimately, I think this is my downfall. I don't have the discipline. I'm waiting for the inspiration and motivation to hit me. But 2023 did not present me with either.
Wish me luck. I really do want to finish what I started and having Eye of the Storm dangling in the wind is breaking my heart.
